Durk was so easy going and great to work with. My timing for a few things was slightly off the day of the wedding but he was very understanding and was able to capture the whole day/evening. 10/10, absolutely amazing service and photos. We hired Durk to do our wedding (and engagement) photos for us and LOVE what we got. He gave us so many photos and was an amazing person to work with. We have never gotten our photos professional taken so we were a bit worried about looking awkward, but this fear was quickly overcome with the engagement photoshoot and getting to know Durk’s personality a bit better. He asked for inspiration of what we wanted and definitely delivered on that, I am in LOVE with all the photos we got, they perfectly capture our day and the memories made. Durk is very talented and you can see he is passionate about capturing your special day just the way you want it. Could not recommend this company enough. Working with DSK was one of the most incredible experiences I could expect from a couples photoshoot. They are fantastic at what they do! From consultation to the finished product, they were impeccable. Easy to communicate and always so kind and organized. After a couple of exchanged messages, they knew exactly what I was looking for and suggested the most epic and breathtaking place for our shoot: Jones Lake - BC. They went above and beyond by all means! Believe me when I say that because Durk went through 3 feet of snow just to capture perfect moments we will never forget. Within minutes, he is able to take lots of beautiful snaps that show emotion and true love. Not only are our photographs stunning, but Durk made the experience so fun, comfortable and enjoyable! The whole process was so natural, there was no pressure, and you may even forget sometimes that you're taking photos. With two rambunctious little boys, photos can often be a challenge. Durk has a calm and friendly manner about him that set our boys at ease. We appreciated how he spoke to them and how he encouraged us all to pose in various ways, yet captured the spontaneous moments and was flexible according to our needs and wants. We also appreciated his sharing in our celebration as we did a gender reveal for our next child (boy #3). It was a real pleasure to have a photo shoot with Durk!

I found DSK Photography on instagram and after seeing their photographs I knew I really wanted to book them! We were coming from Edmonton, Alberta visiting BC for a week and we wanted to get some nice photos of our family in the mountains and around water. Durk and Sharon were very easy to talk to and set up a time to get family photos taken - even willing to drive to Chilliwack Lake for us (for a reasonable extra fee) which was about a 40 minute drive. We received our photos today and we LOVE so many of them! Durk captured our girl's personalities and our family perfectly. Beautiful pictures and I'm amazed at the talent. The photos truly are art and of course 1000000X better than I could ever do with my iPhone. As a Mom, I don't tend to get into pictures or if I do, it's my husband taking the pics so it was nice to have photos of the four of us. Thanks so much Durk and Sharon. Really enjoyed meeting you and spending time with you while you snapped special memories and moments of our little family! We hope to book a summer photoshoot next time we come to BC @ Cultus Lake! :D
